1Aim of the Game
Locate every word from the word list hidden inside the letter grid. Words can run horizontally, vertically, or diagonally, in either direction.
2How to Play
Click and hold on the first letter of a word, drag across to its last letter, then release. On mobile, use your finger the same way. Correctly selected words turn green and are marked off the list.
3Scoring
There's no timer or point total — the puzzle is complete once every word on the list has been found and highlighted. Try to beat your own time on repeat plays.
4Grid Size
Each puzzle uses a 10×10 letter grid with ten words hidden inside it, refreshed every time you click "New Puzzle."
Tips for finding hidden words faster
- Scan for unusual letters first, like Q, X, Z, or J — they're rarer, so spotting one often points straight to a word.
- Read the word list before you start scanning, so your eyes know what letter patterns to look for.
- Search systematically — row by row, then column by column, then diagonals — rather than jumping randomly around the grid.
- Once you find one word, check nearby letters; puzzle grids sometimes cluster words close together.
Why word search puzzles are so relaxing
